VMPM 0.4 is freezing each time when I'm trying to use it with MusE Sequencer 2.1.2 under a fresh install of Ubuntu Studio 17.10.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for reporting this bug.
Vmpk 0.7.2-1 is now in the focal development release (to become 20.04).
I am not sure exactly how to test vmpk with MusE. Are you able to confirm if this latest version works with MusE without crashing?
