ubuntu-vm-builder sets incorrect gateway on default

Bug Description
release: ubuntu 10.04 LTS
package: ubuntu-vm-builder
According to the man page, the vmbuilder script should set the gateway address to the first valid address in the network on default. That would mean Network-ID+1, e.g. for the 192.168.0.0/24 the address 192.168.0.1
In fact, the gateway is set to VM-host-IP+1, e.g for the host 192.168.0.250 to 192.168.0.251.
