Bug Description

Binary package hint: vlc

I was running VLC with skins2 interface for theming. When I click to play a Dvd without menus and with a theme, it simply crashes. I tried a number of times with various themes and this always produced a crash. The same operations without a skin works fine

What skin is used and what is exactly the process to reproduce ?

Well, I filed this back when I was running 7.04. I have since installed and am running 7.10 and vlc's version is 0.8.6.release.c-0ubuntu5.1 so that's a bit different as well. Anyway, I can't reproduce it now, it works fine.

Back when I did have the issue however, while using any skins2 theme all I did was open VLC and try to play a DVD and it would crash every time. Unfortunately I can't give any more info because i've since upgraded.
