vlc hangs on after trying to suppress an item in the playing List

Bug Description
Binary package hint: vlc
Open VLC , open the playing list and put at least 2 items inside. then play on of them , select another in the playing list and press the [Suppr] button on your keyboard. The video is still playing but VLC froze.
