Bug Description

Binary package hint: vlc

I use the vlc-1.0.0~rc2-1ubuntu1 package.
(https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/+source/vlc/1.0.0~rc2-1ubuntu1)

When compiz is enabled and vlc is in fullscreen the wallpaper is drawn for a short time when
I move the mouse. This is very annoying.

Attached is the output of vlc -vvv when in fullscreen mode and moving the mouse.

It is not related to vlc because it also happens in firefox' fullscreen mode when clicking right mouse button to open the context menu.

Changed in vlc (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

If anyone else has this problem it can be fixed:
<yofel> c_korn: found it
<yofel> c_korn: open up ccsm
<yofel> c_korn: general-options -> General
<yofel> c_korn: disable "Undirect Fullscreen Windows" and the flickering is gone

Thanks to yofel :P
