VLC crashes in Jaunty when i try to play video files or DVDs

Binary package hint: vlc

I have just upgraded to 9.04 jaunty, and i have found that VLC player will not play any format of video file or DVDs (i use libdvdcss as my DVD codec) yet it will play audio files. when i open a video the program opens then closes. The Version of VLC i am using is 0.9.9a on Ubuntu 9.04 'Jaunty Jackalope'

Hi, i am no longer using the combination of software that has this problem.
Therefore i can no longer reproduce this bug, or supply any more
information. sorry for the Inconvenience.
