The package cannot display chinese word after upgrade

Bug Description

The words on the main window of vlc cannot display chinese words correctly, I think it may be the link of font is wrong.

This is a side effect of reverting to wxwindows2.4 for Breezy because wxwidgets2.6's Unicode support is horribly broken, and wxwindows2.4 lacks Unicode support completely. When this issue is fixed upstream, we'll reenable compilation against wxwidgets2.6.

Awaiting Dapper's auto-sync to calm down a bit before uploading.

vlc (0.8.4-svn20051025-0ubuntu1) dapper; urgency=low

  * New SVN checkout to fix the Unicode issues once and for all that
    forced build-depending on libwxgtk2.4-dev in Breezy. Change _back_
    to build-depend on libwxgtk2.6-dev (Closes: #3505).
  * debian/:
    + Major purge of unused dpatches.

Please try the version in Dapper, which has wxwidgets2.6 support reenabled.
