Bug Description
Binary package hint: vlc
Switching to fullscreen, flashes screen and does not recover, the sound still plays but nothing else responds, has to force shut down.
**note**
It's only happened when playing avi files, I'm not sure if thats a coincidence.

VLC crashes no matter what format I play or with what video output.
I'm using Kubuntu 9.04, with nvidia 6600GT or 7600GT and comercial drivers.
