vlc fails with a smb:// located ressource in gnome nautilus

Bug Description

Open a location on a smb share. Try to display a movie file on that ressource in vlc. Vlc will show it's error list to you: Unable to open 'smb://server/file.avi'

Either the way of gnome to link the smb stuff in or vlc fails.
