2009-03-24 16:56:48 the motorman vlc: statusexplanation vlc has to ship a .desktop with a MimeType list similar to /usr/share/applications/totem.desktop. I have the same problem with Picassa it is reported elsewhere but the problem is that Nautilus does not "see" Picassa in it's list of media apps. I can get around by a 2 step process but it would be nice not to have to do that. How do I get Nautilus to recognize my choices of defaults if they don't show under prefs. media?
