Bug Description
When i'm trying to open any media file all system crashes , i use ubuntu 18.04 ...
I make javascript visual effects on an ogg sound file and trying to record it with kazam , when try to open the recorded file the system crashes and next when i'm trying to open any media file with any media player system crashes every time ...

If all media player crash, this is definitely not a vlc issue but a more general issue. Please provide a backtrace of the crash so that we can better identify the component causing the crashes.
