[0000555c58ae4148] core libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface.

Please provide a backtrace of the crash. apport should help with that.

Apologies for this report - something, somewhere killed my system a few days ago. After a complete re-installation, this (amongst other things) just works. I've marked it as "invalid".
