Bug Description
Hi,
1. In Ubuntu 16.04 Desktop 32-bit I have installed "VLC Media Player" from official Ubuntu repository like: sudo apt update && sudo apt install vlc
and run it.
2. Help | About there is version 2.2.2.
3. From menu File | Open Directory I pointed to directory where I have videos and click on Choose button.
4. All videos are displayed in Playlist, but problem appears. Each video in my case has embed jpeg file of movie cover. In Ubuntu 14.04 where VLC 2.1.6 was installed by default when I have opened directory with videos all videos by default was displayed with movie cover. Now in Ubuntu 16.04 using VLC 2.2.2 video covers are not displayed at all. This is the problem in this bug report. See attachment above part of the print-screen.
5. If I click on video to start playing it and then click on "Stop playback" button then in Playlist video cover is displayed. I can do this manually for each of the video, but this is very annoying. What I would like by default when directory is opened to have all of the video covers displayed in Playlist just like it was in previous VLC version. See attachment bellow part of the print-screen.
Thanks
