===[The problem]===

Vlc crashes after trying to play a stream or MP3 file or MPEG file. Perhaps on more formats. I did not test that.

The segmentation fault can be reproduced by playing a MP3 stream

This looks like it was caused by libvdpau-va-gl1 and should be fixed in 3.0.0 and recent versions of libvdpau-va-gl1.
