2015-10-21 14:43:18 Karl-Philipp Richter bug added bug
2015-10-21 14:43:41 Karl-Philipp Richter description If `vlc` is invoked with a list of directories to add items to the playlist from, e.g. `vlc /path/to/dir1 /path/to/dir2 /path/to/dir3` only one is expanded in the sense that it's content is added to the playlist, the other directories are added as item which is expanded when the playlist proceeds to the position or if the user clicks on it. This influences random playlists as the unexpanded items only count as one item instead of the number of expanded items, e.g. if `dir1` and `dir3` had 100 items each and `dir2` 3, the possibility of and item of `dir1` being chosen in a random playlist is 1/(1+1+3), but should be 1/(100+100+3). I'm very certain that this behaviour observed by me isn't a statistical anomaly, but it could be, of course. All directories should be expanded from the beginning. I'm very certain that this behaviour observed by me isn't a statistical anomaly, but it could be, of course.
