Bug Description
If the playback of audio files like mp3 or wav formatted files is interrupted by heavy system load, eg. system doing swapping operations, it stalls forever. The playback state is still 'playing' as indicated by the buttons, but the time counter and playback itself is stopped. Skipping and pausing / unpausing the playback does not resolve the problem, stopping and starting the track again however does.
How to reproduce:
Play an audio file with vlc, and put push the system to the limits, eg. open a very large image in an imageviewer until swapping sets in.
What happens:
The audio may stutter a bit under heavy load, but eventually it totally stops playing.
What is expected to happen:
The audio may be interrupted for short terms under heavy load, but should continue playing if possible until the end of the file.
