Defaults to creating a Python 2 virtualenv (and failing)

In a fresh lxd container:

# apt update
...
# apt install virtualenvwrapper
...
# . /usr/share/bash-completion/completions/virtualenvwrapper
# mkvirtualenv test
The path python2 (from --python=python2) does not exist
