Bug Description

ASUS EeePC 1008HA with kernel linux-image-2.6.38-10-generic and linux-image-2.6.38-11-generic freezes during going to sleep.
With kernel linux-image-2.6.38-8-generic no such problem.

@SWmail: I see you have virtualbox modules loaded, do you still get the problem if you remove VirtualBox or virtualbox modules before suspending?

@Herton R. Krzesinski (herton): If I remove all vbox (vboxpci,vboxnetadp,vboxnetflt,vboxdrv) modules then it's works. If I remove all virtualbox modules except vboxdrv, then it's freeze in the same way.

I also confirm about VirtualBox 4.1 kernel modules.

After you quit or remove them, you can sleep works fine again.

Doesn't care about pae or non-pae vertions.

Can confirm this with a PAE kernel. Stoped vboxdrv and suspending is no problem any more (hibernating and sleep).

Seems to be fixed in VirtualBox 4.1.2
* Linux hosts: fixed random kernel panics on host suspend / shutdown (Bug #9305)
