Mouse events stop being propagated to most of the application windows when VirtualBox is running

Bug Description

Bug starts replicating randonly after unlocking the screen.

Mouse events stop being propageted to windows of most of the applications. That includes Window decorator. Windows also cannot be dragged. Keyboard events work fine.

Problem does not affect the desktop, notification and activities bar, lock screen, launcher, settings, terminal, gnome-text-editor, Ubuntu Software.

Problem was reproduced with applications: Google Chrome, MS Edge, Firefox, VS Code, Oracle Virtual Box, Gimp....

Only way to recover right now is to restart system.

Just realized that it was caused by VirtualBox. After closing guest OS the mouse started to work properly again.

Sounds like VirtualBox had a "grab" on the mouse.
