The current version (5.2.6-dfsg-1) seems to have the timer-related fixes for 4.15, but there are module parameter callback prototype fixes in the original patch from lwfinger which don't appear to have been applied:

Without those the virtualbox-guest-dkms build still fails with 4.15.
