Bug Description

BEHAVIOR
When I run Virtualbox and load one of my virtual OS's (say, Kubuntu, for example) moving my mouse to the top-left corner of the screen in the host GNOME desktop to activate activities overview doesn't work. Clicking the "Activities" text will still activate the activities overview. Switching to another window or program like Firefox, Geary, Nautilus/Files etc. will fix the behavior the the top-left corner works normally, again (until I switch back to Virtualbox, in which case the same problem persists).

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Moving my mouse to the top-left of the screen to activate the activities overview in GNOME to work regardless of if Virtualbox is the active window on my desktop.

BUG DISCOVERED USING
Virtualbox 5.1.22_Ubuntu r115126
(Qt 5.7.1)
Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 x64
GNOME 3.24.2 desktop environment
Linux kernel 4.10.0-24-generic

PLease try with 5.1.26 even if I think this is not a bug, just you need to understand who is having the current focus (alt-gr helps you in giving the focus to the host)
