Bug Description

Problem happened while the update manager was "updating the hardware." I saw nothing other than the error report, so I can't add anything useful.

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 which I installed 2 days ago, replacing 11.10. My machine is an HP Pavilion DV9620us with 4GB of RAM.
