Bug Description

On 12.04.02 with linux-generic-lts-quantal and as required xserver-xorg-lts-quantal installed virtualbox-guest-x11 cannot be installed without downgrading the X stack to the original precise version:

root@horst:~# aptitude install virtualbox-guest-x11
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  libxcomposite1{a} virtualbox-guest-x11 xserver-xorg-core{a}
The following packages are RECOMMENDED but will NOT be installed:
  libgl1-mesa-dri
0 packages upgraded, 3 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 3,358 kB of archives. After unpacking 9,563 kB will be used.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 xserver-xorg-lts-quantal : Conflicts: xserver-xorg-core (>= 0~) but 2:1.11.4-0ubuntu10.12 is to be installed.

This bug now affects Ubuntu 12.04.3. On a freshly installed system virtualbox-guest-x11 cannot be installed:

Hi, vbox maintainer here, sorry but I would like to avoid patching the same issue on precise.
if you move to trusty you can find all the lts versions you want (for guest packages).

Patching precise at this time would be a waste of time, specially because I would have to redo the packaging from scratch.
