Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

I am testing Natty in a Virtualbox 4.04 guest hosted in XP host. I selected 3d activation for Virtualbox machine and after that I tried to start Ubuntu classic with effects on. But the system hangs with and empty screen and I have to shut down the Virtualbox machine.
I have installed the Ubuntu Vbox guest additions and not the Vbox 4.04 Iso guest additions because they are bugged.

Thanks for taking time in making ubuntu better. This seems like a flaw in the the Virtual Box itself. A screen cast would explain much better.

I tried again with 3d to take a snapshot of the screen and this time the Vbox crashed, I attach the log.

It seems that the issue is in Virtual Box not in Compiz. Thanks

Safe to assume this release is no longer supported.
