Bug Description

While starting Lucid of this day in Virtualbox, as a live image, the resolution is 800x600 and can't be changed, or X won't start.

I have tried to reconfigure X, create a new xorg.conf file in a tty after stopping gdm service, then X could not start, and offered to start in low resolution mode. The actual driver in xorg.conf is fbdev.

the size of the screen is a bit small to see what could be installed from Synaptic...
After configuring Universe and even Multiverse there are some virtualbox packages, but in the xorg-server-video section no driver for Virtualbox.

After X started came out this message in the gui that reported X crashed, and started to gather the informations to send to launchpad.

Thanks for the good job, and please try to add the drivers for the Virtualbox uses...
