virtualbox-ose: statusexplanation |
It's currently mentioned in /usr/share/doc/virtualbox-ose-guest-utils/README.Debian (where most users won't look).
Doing this automatically, might cause problems for some users - there have been bug reports where it failed somehow (graphic driver issues IIRC).
This is a valid wishlist item though, so I'm marking it as such.
It used to have been done before, but the automatic change of xorg.conf has been removed in Debian again, see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=451745 |
