Virtualbox not working for weeks

I havent been able to use Virtualbox for several weeks because the modules for the latest kernel never have been shipped.
I've experienced this many times.
Something is wrong.

I think this problem is high priority, since it undermines the whole product that is virtualbox.

This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . I have classified this bug as a bug in virtualbox-ose-modules.
For future reference you might be interested to know that a lot of applications have bug reporting functionality built in to them. This can be accessed via the Report a Problem option in the Help menu for the application with which you are having an issue. A workaround for the problem is the following

sudo apt-get install virtualbox-ose-source
sudo m-a update
sudo m-a prepare
sudo m-a a-i virtualbox-ose
sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv restart

I believe the correct solution would be to point virtual-box-ose-modules to the correct version of virtual-box-ose-2.6...
