Bug Description

Binary package hint: virt-manager

When a host KVM is running and openssh server is running, try to access it from another machine:
1) Launch virt-manager on "Client" machine
2) choose File > Open Connection... > Connection: Remote Tunnel over SSH

Credentials have to be entered as user@IPaddress or <email address hidden>.

There should be fields for User Name and Port, such as there are in Places > Connect to Server... > Service Type: SSH

This bug still exists in the UI. virt-manager does not have a specific field for username, port, or the likes. These must be placed in the hostname field.

it would be far better IMO if it just used .ssh/config - after all it calls the ssh command line tool.

By all means add options to the GUI to override them if you must.

However ATM it is also hard coding port 22 and root according to strace. I tracked some down under /usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager but I can't find the final ones (it used to be that simple, I fear it's now in some libvirt libraries I need to go hunting)
