Bug Description
Binary package hint: vino
I am using vino (2.32.0-0ubuntu1.1) on ubuntu 10.10, to remote-control several other ubuntu 10.10 machines.
The mouse pointer is always displayed as a default arrow. For example, when reaching window borders, no resize-pointer appears, when hovering over text input fields, no text cursor appears, etc.
This makes it especially difficult to remotely resize windows.

Common guys, it has been years. It's really annoying and hard to resize the application window in a VNC session.

If it helps... Although I have not used Ubuntu much, Vino has always had this problem for me and a coworker for years running various versions of Debian, Gnome and Remote Desktop. It appears to be entirely independent of what client one uses. I have never seen it NOT do this. I post here because I very much hope someone can fix this. Thank you
