Bug Description

When I run "vncviewer <address.of.dapper.machine>", I get this response:
VNC viewer version 3.3.7 - built Feb 20 2006 12:04:05
Copyright (C) 2002-2003 RealVNC Ltd.
Copyright (C) 1994-2000 AT&T Laboratories Cambridge.
See http://www.realvnc.com for information on VNC.
Warning: Color name "black" is not defined
VNC server supports protocol version 3.7 (viewer 3.3)
ReadFromRFBServer: rdr::EndOfStream

When I run "/usr/lib/vino/vino-server" in a terminal window on the dapper machine I want to VNC into, at the same time that the VNC connection is attempted, vino-server dies with this message:
The program 'vino-server' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadImplementation (server does not implement operation)'.
  (Details: serial 93 error_code 17 request_code 129 minor_code 5)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Thanks for your bug. Do you run xgl?

Changed in vino:

status: Unconfirmed → Rejected

Yes, I do.

I tried killing XGL and this problem goes away.

This is a problem with XGL -- sorry for the false positive.
