Binary package hint: vinagre
Upgraded to Hardy 8.04b, the new VNC client would be great if it allowed window scaling (eg. controlling a 1024x768 on a 800x600 screen without having to scroll around). The people at RealVNC got this right. Let's bring that feature onto Ubuntu.

Emilio says that the feature is "too late in the cycle to add". In that case I would recommend to leave tsclient + xtightvncviewer as the default VNC client until this fix/update is released. No use in putting out an LTS release with a crummy half working app. If you say that it isn't a half working app, look at this bug:
