Bug Description
The Vim item in the applications menu has no icon, and right clicking on it and
choosing 'add to panel' gives an error message 'cannot load icon vim.png'

vim-gnome has other problems as well; it has the same broken diversion problem
as vim-python.
My opinion is that we should simply build our 'vim' package with python and
gnome support, and forget about the rest of vim-*. as such, marking this as a
duplicate of bug #7593
