gvim menus don't work properly on unity

Bug Description

Binary package hint: vim

Click syntax -> show filetypes in menu.

Click syntax, observe how the letter categories don't expand.

This only affects gvim when running in Unity.

I just tried it on Oneiric, it seems to have been fixed there.

I've got absolutely no menus having upgraded to Oneiric. Pointing at the top bar gives nothing.
