Bug Description

Binary package hint: vim-runtime

This is a minor wishlist item. Currently, XHTML files are recognised if they're named *.html but surprisingly not when being named *.xhtml. However, when trying to activate XForms support in Firefox, the name must be *.xhtml for local files.

I can confirm this. The problem is trivially easy to fix, and I will forward it upstream tomorrow.

Has this been forwarded to upstream? or included in hardy?

This was reported over a year ago! I can't remember what I did at the time, especially for little bugs. It might be a good idea to report it upstream again if it hasn't been fixed yet.

This was fixed upstream in the first alpha release of vim 7.1 (though the announcement didn't mention it), so has been fixed in Ubuntu releases from 7.10 onwards.
