Bug Description
Binary package hint: vim
Vim terminates with SIGABRT when yout type :e ~../ and hit <Tab>. It does so for other malformed paths such as "~.." or "~." Seems to be reproducible on Ubuntu 8.04

I am unable to reproduce this using vim in 9.04, so it appears the issue has been fixed. All of the given examples worked in vim and gvim.
