Bug Description
Binary package hint: vim
I am running the editexisting.vim script which is supposed to bring existing vim sessions editing the same file to the foreground (rather than printing that message about an existing swap file). If I use alt-tab to go back to the terminal, instead of bringing the window to the foreground, gvim just returns back to the prompt. It does not even print the existing swap file message at all.
I have tried running the script by copying it to my own .vim/plugin and adding 'runtime! macros/
To reproduce, run:
gvim test; sleep 3s; gvim test
And when the first instance of vim comes up, press alt-tab to switch to another window. After 3s, the previous vim window is meant to raise back to the foreground, but it does not.
