in the ruler the character positions are not counted correctly if unicode is
inserted like: 황윤성

Is this still an issue with vim in Breezy? If so can you talk to upstream (vim
developers) and see if they have any plans on fixing it and report back? I tried
to find a bug tracker for vim, but I couldn't find anything on their website.
The sourceforge bug page appears to only be used for the vimonline website. Thanks.

Seems to work with Dapper, vim now counts both byte offset and character position (exactly the other way round - compared to tab display). Closing.
