Bug Description
Binary package hint: vim
I try running gvim, but it's apparently not installed:
chris@trpaslik:~$ gvim
The program 'gvim' can be found in the following packages:
* vim
* vim-perl
* vim-ruby
* vim-full
* vim-python
* vim-tcl
* vim-gnome
* vim-tiny
* vim-gtk
Try: sudo apt-get install <selected package>
Make sure you have the 'universe' component enabled
bash: gvim: command not found
Ah, it's in package vim? I'll install that then:
chris@trpaslik:~$ sudo apt-get install vim

vim is already the newest version.

chris@trpaslik:~$
It's already installed? Something somewhere must not be telling me the truth then.
