Bug Description

I'm getting an error building Geary in a PPA on Yakkity:

> libsoup-2.4.vapi:1188.3-1188.9: warning: attribute `Version' never used
> [Version (since = "2.34")]

The Version attribute was (AFAIK) introduced in vala 0.31.1, however the version currently in universe on Yakkity and hence used for the PPA build is 0.30.1, hence I believe the error. I'm not sure why the [Version] attribute is present in libsoup-2.4.vapi - maybe a bad packaging cherry pick from git?

Full build failure log is here: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/267109622/buildlog_ubuntu-yakkety-i386.geary_0.11.0+SNAPSHOT2016062300~0ubuntu1ppa1~yakkety_BUILDING.txt.gz

This is not an error but a warning. (drop --fatal-warnings)
Yakkety has 0.32.x which supports the "Version" tags.

Changed in vala (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
