Uzbl cookie manager, doesn't keep me logged in

Hi, I read that: "uzbl no longer uses cookie daemons." Does that mean that uzbl-cookie-daemon has been replaced? Why does Uzbl always delete my cookies on exit? I wish Uzbl could keep me logged in on some webpages with cookies. I couldn't find cookies.txt file at:
/home/USERNAME/.local/share/uzbl/cookies.txt
/home/USERNAME/.config/uzbl/cookies.txt

I have this same problem myself, uzbl not sharing cookies/active logins between instances and forgetting when you close the window.
