Bug Description

I had a few cases where I wanted to sync Release A but not touch B,C,...:
For example:
uvt-simplestreams-libvirt --verbose sync --source http://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/daily arch=amd64 label=daily release=trusty
Removing: com.ubuntu.cloud.daily:server:17.10:amd64 20170502
Removing: com.ubuntu.cloud.daily:server:16.10:amd64 20170502
Removing: com.ubuntu.cloud.daily:server:16.04:amd64 20170502
[...]

I only want it to add 14.04 but not touch the others.
ATM I think that option does not exist so this - for now - is a wishlist/feature request bug.

I second this. All I wanted was to download bionic images, but uvtool surprisingly deleted my xenial image without my say-so:

$ uvt-simplestreams-libvirt --verbose sync --source http://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/daily arch=amd64 label=daily release=bionic
Adding: com.ubuntu.cloud.daily:server:18.04:amd64 20180318
Removing: com.ubuntu.cloud.daily:server:16.04:amd64 20180316

I find that very surprising, to say the least. That's hundreds of megabytes down the drain that have to be downloaded again.
