Bug Description
Binary package hint: uswsusp
After upgrading to Lucid Lynx (Ubuntu 10.04 LTS), my system hangs early in the boot
process with following message: "Could not stat the resume device file
'/dev/sda5'" This is rather logical, my boot device is on /dev/sdb, so
it should look for '/dev/sdb5'.
I edited uswsusp.conf and changed the 'resume device = /dev/sda5'
into 'resume device = /dev/sdb5' and that fixed my problem.
Still It is probably worth to mention that this problem did occur and
had to be fixed manually.
(Sorry for the noise if this is a wrong assumption)
Guivho.

This morning, when booting after hibernation, it was again looking for /dev/sda5 rather than /dev/sdb5 although the /etc/uswsusp.conf points to sdb. This should not happen. I suppose that there is some other place where I have to manually correct this in order to avoid this problem?
