Bug Description
Binary package hint: uswsusp
with gutsy my main harddisk was hda
after upgrade to hardy it is now sda
uswsusp configuration was not automatically changed (which might be tolerable)
BUT: this lead uswsusp to ask interactively during the boot sequence, where to resume from, because it could no longer find hda3
- this should not be done, the boot process should not be stalled for a minor problem like this! A boot should complete "at any cost" if at all possible. Think of a remotely administered machine!
(and usplash did not show this question but turned to a black screen instead, so it was somewhat difficult to find out why the boot failed to complete. I will report this to usplash)

I can confirm this.
Can be fixed by doing a dpkg-reconfigure uswsusp and selecting /dev/sdaN as resume device.
