Yes. I had the exact same problem. IIRC it was the reinstall of initramfs-tools that helped. You might also try "dpkg-reconfigure initramfs-tools" since that could remove the faulty bits from your configs.

And I don't even use hibernate/resume on this laptop, so it was pretty surprising that I got this problem...
