Bug Description
Binary package hint: usplash
After latest updates system boots into blank screen. It seems like it finally boots to login form, but no progress is visible after GRUB menu. Ctrl-Alt-Del reboots the system. Alt-Shift-F1 ... F12 doesn't work. With previous kernel there is a blinking cursor.
After some fsck and aptitude manipulations in recovery mode system boots up to login form, but still no progress information is displayed during the process. Only new splash screen animation pops up from time to time.
