Bug Description
Binary package hint: usplash
Since intrepid (and now on jaunty) usplash is disappearing on my laptop. During initial boot probing it is shown - but when actually booting the os it drops to console.
It also works when shutting down the machine.
Changing the resolution and the usplash theme shows the same effect.
