3. Nothing I just booted Ubuntu Intrepid and it came up saying that Usplash had crashed.

4. Message came up saying Usplash crashed so I submitted error/bug.

The usplash package has been superseded by plymouth and has been removed from the Ubuntu archive. Closing all related bugs.
