Bug Description

Binary package hint: usplash

Version: intrepid alpha 3
Machine: Dell Inspiron 6400n
Display controller: Intel Corp Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME

usplash on the LiveCD shows three progress bars instead of one.
Only the middle one works.
I'll attach a photo.

I'll see if I can come up with better debugging data.

I can confirm this in Intrepid running on a Virtualbox guest. My display looks slightly different but the idea is the same. See attached screenshot.

I can confirm this too, along with another problem which may be related:
virtual terminals don't work anymore. :(

I don't have a digital camera, but I found this which illustrates the bar problem pretty well too:

Version:
ii usplash 0.5.22 Userspace bootsplash utility

I attached the output of lspci and lshw, as well as xorg.conf.
