tried all possible values for vga, tried other splashes. the splash is displayed only if I boot from the Live CD. also have no monitor signal durring boot, just after Kernel's Starting up.. and before GDM/KDM. Using (K)Ubuntu 7.10 |
My Laptop is MSI ER710, after install there's no usplash displaying. I've setup different possible values in grub menu.list for 'vga=' modes. if i plug in externel monitor durring boot, on it I see the usplash and I apears again if i unplug the monitor, but no way. tried usplash command in console, no usplash displayed. I tried all possible values for vga, tried other splashes. the splash is displayed only if I boot from the Live CD. also have no monitor signal durring boot, just after Kernel's Starting up.. and before GDM/KDM.
