Usplash would need to automatically detect good resolution or to find another way to gather needed informations to create a valid /etc/usplash.conf than debconf variables from X. |

However, this will not be possible for Hardy so the only partial/temporary fix is to detect the screen resolution in usplash.postinst if X is running. This will only fix the problem for LiveCDs. |
